  • Alternate "C" parameter* setting is C41
Adjustable from 0.1-60 sec
A5

Adjustable  from 0.1 - 60 sec
A6

CXR/MSM-R(P)
Deceleration Rate 3

  • Determines the amount of time it will take for the drive to decelerate from 60 to 0 Hz
  • A7 determines when this rate is used (should be the shortest time)
Adjustable from 0.1-30 secs
MVU/MXU
Deceleration when Reverse Plugging
  • deceleration rate to reverse plug
  • Alternate "C" parameter* setting is C43

Adjustable from 0.1 - 60 sec

A7 CXR/MSM-R(P)
Deceleration Mode
  • The deceleration rate used by drive. Determines when deceleration rate 1 (A4), deceleration rate 2 (A5), and deceleration rate 3 (A6) will be used (in each of these modes A4 is assumed to be the longest time and A6 the shortest)
  • Available modes differ between drive models. Refer to your drive's manual for descriptions of each mode.
Adjustable modes: 0-5
A8 CXR/MSM-R(P)
Voltage boost
  • Increases the torque at low frequencies. During low frequency output, the voltage output of the drive will increase by the amount set.
  • This value also determines the minimum voltage for the Pulse Start and DC Injection feature (If the values in L31 or L33 are lower than A8 then A8's values will be used)
Adjustable from 1-30% of full line voltage
A9

CXR/MSM-R(P)
Operation Mode Adjustable Mode: 0 - 7
MVU/MXU
  • Speed adjustments for pendant control schemes
  • See parameter C20* in manual for complete description of each mode
Adjustable Modes: 0-6
A10 CXR/MSM-R(P)
Slip Compensation
  • If this value is positive the drive frequency will increase to that value in the forward direction
  • If the value is negative, the drive's frequency will increase by the absolute value of the stored amount in the reverse direction
  • This is a useful feature if the motor experiences more drag in one direction than in another (ie. a hoist,  in such a case compensate the drag by increasing the frequency output of the drive in the direction that experiences the drag)
Adjustable from -10 to 10 Hz
A12

CXR/MSM-R(P)
Low Speed (FORward terminal, REVerse terminal)
  • Sets the low speed setting of the drive
  • This is invoked when either the forward or reverse terminal is activated
  • Adjustable from 0.0 -120 Hz (MSM-R(P))
  • Adjustable from 0.0 - 120 Hz (CXR)
MVU/MXU
Speed 1 Adjustable from 0.0 - 320 Hz
A13

CXR/MSM-R(P)
Speed 2 (S2 terminal)
  • Sets the second speed setting of the drive
  • Usually invoked when the S2 terminal is activated
  • Adjustable from 0.0 -120 Hz (MSM-R(P))
  • Adjustable from 1.0 -120 Hz (CXR)
MVU/MXU
Adjustable from -1.00 to 320 Hz
A14

CXR
Speed 3 (S3 terminal)
  • Sets the third speed setting of the CXR
  • Usually invoked when the S3 terminal is activated
Adjustable from 1.0 -120 Hz
MVU/MXU
Adjustable from -1.00 to 320 Hz
A15

CXR
Speed 4 (S4 terminal)
  • Sets the fourth speed setting of the CXR
  • Usually invoked when the S4 terminal is activated
Adjustable from 1.0 -120 Hz
MVU/MXU
Adjustable from -1.00 to 320 Hz
A16

CXR/MSM-R(P)
Speed 5/Top Speed (S5)
  • Sets the fifth speed setting of drive
  • This speed is usually invoked when the S5 terminal is activated
  • https://www.peinfo.com/operation-manual-request/Adjustable from 0.0 -120 Hz (MSM-R(P))
  • Adjustable from 1.0 -120 Hz (CXR)
MVU/MXU
Speed 5 Adjustable from -1.00 to 320 Hz
A17

CXR
Analog Signal Upper Limit Frequency Setting
  • Used with a potentiometer (see A9 mode 3 in manual)
  • Sets the frequency the drive will output when potentiometer is turned to its upper limit
Adjustable from 1.0 -120 Hz
MVU/MXU
Analog 1 Max Value
  • Determines the maximum output range to which Analog 1 can be set
  • Alternate "C" parameter* setting is C31

Adjustable 0.0 - 320 Hz

Notes on the MXU & MVU "A" Parameters:

  • * What are "C" parameters?
    • Many commonly used “C” parameters are mirrored in the “A” parameter group for quick access without the need for an unlock procedure. "C" parameters require are unlock procedure. Adjustments to the "A" parameters are typically sufficient for most applications.
  • **Alternate "C" Parameters
    • If the speeds set in C21-C25 are above the Speed Upper Limits or the maximum speeds, the actual speed will take on the lesser corresponding value. A negative value in C22-26 is “Off” (specific parameter notes available in manual).
