      How can I test or verify that the direction, 2nd - 5th speed, and other control inputs are working properly on my VFD?

      All PE® VFDs have an input diagnostic test screen that can be used to test the functionality of the inputs.

      Follow the steps in your VFD's manual for checking the E8 input diagnostic screen.

      • For Micro-Speed® Smart-Move® models, refer to sections 8.1 and 8.2 in the Operation Manual.
      • For Micro-Speed® CX™ models, refer to sections 9.1 through 9.3 in the Operation Manual.
